Overview
Concierge now offers integration with Amadeus Hospitality (Cloud version) to automatically import events loaded in the Amadeus system into the Concierge system. These events will then be automatically displayed on the Concierge signage. Please let your JDS sales representative, or the service desk know if you would like to integrate your Concierge and Amadeus systems.
Usage Notes
Update Frequency
Concierge will check for any new Amadeus events every five minutes.
Concierge will only import events for the next seven days.
Posted Setting in Amadeus
Concierge will only import Amadeus events that have the posted attribute set to true.
If an event has been imported into Concierge and its posted attribute is set to false, it will be deleted from Concierge.
Deleting Events
Any event that is deleted in Amadeus will be deleted from Concierge.
Any event deleted in Concierge will not delete the corresponding event in Amadeus, and this event will never be re-imported into Concierge.
Semi Automatic vs Full Automatic Linking
When your Amadeus integration is first set up, you will need to decide whether you want a fully or semi automatic setup.
Semi Automatic
Semi Automatic requires each event to be approved in Concierge after it has been imported from Amadeus before it will display.
When an event is imported from Amadeus, it is given a pending status.
While an event is pending it will update to reflect any changes made in Amadeus.
Once an event has been approved further changes in Amadeus won't update the event.
As above, changing the posted attribute to false in Amadeus will delete the event from Concierge.
Fully Automatic
Fully Automatic integration ensures that events are automatically imported and approved in Concierge without any user intervention.
Further changes made to the event in Amadeus will not be reflected in the Concierge event.
As above, changing the posted attribute to false in Amadeus will delete the event from Concierge.
